THE INTENT: DEVELOP A RANGE OF CREATIVE ADCEPTS FOR CAPITAL ONE QUICK CHECK | ROLE: SR. ART DIRECTOR
One brief, two months, three brainstorming sessions, and several revisions later reveal these creative executions/concept boards for Quick Check. A tool that helps customers see which cards they are approved for before applying. The ultimate goal was to demonstrate the value of the Quick Check while adding a slice of humanity. I led art direction and defined territories/themes to which the creative would align (ex. Ease of Use, Empowerment).
TheProcess
While developing this creative, it was important to start with the ask and identify the main product benefits. Once the benefits were determined we started imagining the type of scenarios where the tool would be most useful—brainstorming sessions and additional research were critical. Finally, we landed on territories/themes that helped us create relatable and authentic language and paired that with visuals that were just as effective.
